The issue of deafening silence from the muslim community has been an ongoing issue, and widely discussed. It should not have taken this incident to provoke outrage necessary to take action.

Period.

Outrage should have come a long time ago. You are acting as if only now should outrage and widespread condmenation be justified.

Not to get back to the main topic or anything, but I remember back in the day, when the Murrah building in Oklahoma City was bombed. I mourned ALL of the innocent lives damaged and lost in that bombing, but the fact that a child care center was in the building just seemed to make it so much worse. I know, the other people were as innocent as the children. Yet - I had a son a day care center that day, the same age as the child that I saw being carried bloody from the scene by a fireman.

And that made it hit home a little harder.

And I'm glad that those who were silent are speaking out against this outrage. Too bad it took this to do it.
